Yikes! This blog has been a ghost town lately by no fault but my own. Here’s the deal: at work on I’m on the computer all day long, so by the time I get home, the last thing I want to do is pry open my laptop again — even just-for-fun. Make sense?
What’s been going on with me lately? Oh, a little bit of everything. I’ve managed to hit the gym 3 times a week for a few weeks now (big win!). I’m not seeing any physical results yet, but mentally it’s helping me. I’m not carrying around the daunting and overbearing “Gym Guilt” as much. Example: “I really should go to the gym… I really should have made it to the gym…” I couldn definitely go more, but baby steps here.
My friends and family are great! My first-ever Galentine’s Day nighttime brunch was a smash hit. I love girls nights. Everyone puts aside their worries and concerns about work, significant others, responsibilities, etc. and has fun! I think we all could use more that: Less worrying, more fun.
Did I mention I went to Chicago to visit college friends a few weekends ago? Did I mention it was one of the best weekends of my life? More on that soon.
