I’m terrible at remembering to drink water. My parents are both heavy water drinks so you’d think it’d get the hang of it now. Even my brother drinks lots of water! I just forget. Unless I’m dying of thirst from working out or devouring buffalo chicken wings, I don’t think to pound it. Sometimes I’m at my desk at work and it’s 3 p.m. and I realize I’ve only one glass of water — and that was at lunch!
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for remembering to drink more water? I could use some help!

i struggle with this too! when i carry a water bottle i find myself drinking more. i need a HUGE water bottle that is not heavy and obviously stylish…
I need a better water bottle… Maybe that would help!
I keep a mason jar next to the sink and have a sip every time I walk through the kitchen. It is perfect water chugging temperature coming straight out of the tap. I never sit down with a glass of ice water like I probably should! But because you aren’t home all day I would totally look into getting one of the fruit infuser water bottles. Not only would it taste great, and be good for you, but if you went through the work of adding fruit it would be hard to forget to drink it! Good luck with whatever you do!

I struggle with this too. I’ve been making an effort to drink more water throughout the day. I start with a cup of warm lemon water when I wake up, this gets me off to a good start. Tea (decaf/herbal) is also a great way to get in more water.
I’ve heard that there are several free phone apps that will send you reminders to drink more! Might be something to look into!

I find that if I fill up my water as soon as I get to work, I’ll drink it and refill it throughout the day, but if I don’t, I completely forget about it and won’t drink any at all for the day. I’m not a big water drinker either and have to force myself to remember it’s good for me!
